How toxins make us sick

When toxins collect in the body, they can make us sick in a number of ways. The blood becomes thicker, and because it is now denser and heavier, it can no longer circulate easily through the blood vessels. Wastes that normally would be transported to the excretory organs by the bloodstream enter the lymph and other cellular fluids. The longer this contaminated and congested state lasts, the more corrupted these fluids will be. Over time, the cells can find themselves bathing in a veritable swamp, the inert mass of which paralyzes all exchanges.

Supplies of oxygen and nutrients can no longer make their way to the cells, so cells can not accomplish their work anymore, nor can the organs they constitute. Wastes accumulate, which reduces the body’s ability to function properly. The walls of the blood vessels become carpeted with wastes, reducing their diameter and slowing circulation, which in turn has an adverse effect on tissue irrigation and exchange. The joints become blocked, the kidneys become clogged and eliminate wastes much less effectively, the skin closes up, and the liver becomes congested.

The body’s tissues and mucous membranes are irritated by wastes. They become inflamed and over the long term become hardened and sclerotic. They also become more prone to infections. Harmful cellular mutations (cancer) begin to occur. The harmful effects of toxins
are due to: Their mass. They take up so much space that they hinder and block the vessels and cells. They irritate, inflame, and destroy cells.
